If you love the Lakes but want to avoid the crowds, this could be the place for you. Lorton is a small village in one of the most beautiful and unspoilt valleys of the National Park.

There are five lovely lakes within six miles, yet it is only 15 minutes from Keswick and the A66.

Dale Cottage has a secluded location just off the road which winds its way through High Lorton. Standing at the end of a row of old cottages, (formerly The Horseshoe Inn), it has good views of the surrounding fells.

The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, making it ideal for a family or two couples.It has a modern kitchen/diner and a delightful sitting room overlooking the private garden.
