including a wood burning stove which makes it particularly cosy in the evenings. Free Wi-Fi connection is available.
The entrance hall leads to an attractive sitting room with comfortable furniture, digital TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi and lots of games and books. It has three windows and a French window looking on to the garden and the fells beyond.
The beamed kitchen/dining room has Shaker style units, a table which can seat six, electric cooker, micro-wave, fridge and washer-dryer.
Upstairs, the landing has a cupboard useful for drying clothes leading to a double bedroom with built in wardrobes and a vanity unit, a twin bedroom with a wash basin and wardrobe, and a bathroom with WC, sink, and bath with shower.
Central heating is by storage heaters in every room and a convector heater is available if required, in addition to the wood-burning stove. Water is heated automatically by electricity (all charges included in the rent). A bag of logs is provided.
There is an attractive south-facing garden with picnic table, surrounded by a Lakeland stone wall. Private parking for two cars. There is a summer house containing deck chairs, parasol and bbq and room to store bikes.
